ANTINOMIANISM
Officer: Didn’t I just pull you over for speeding last month?
Driver: Yes, but someone paid that ticket for me, so I’m good!
Officer: Sir, that doesn’t mean you can keep breaking the law.
Driver: I told you, officer, I’m not under that law anymore! My ticket was paid so I'm at liberty! I'm free!
Officer: Uh, no. Your penalty was erased, not the law. You're not free now to endanger yourself or others.
Driver: I don’t need you or the law to telling me how to drive! Come on man! Didn't you hear what I said? My ticket was paid!!!
Officer: This next ticket of yours is going to be pretty hefty.
Driver (laughing and shaking his head): Officer, if I were to start obeying the law not to speed RIGHT after someone paid my fine, don't you see how ungrateful that would be? I'd be saying that their payment wasn't enough. I'd be putting myself back under the penalty for speeding. That's ludicrous!
Officer (opening his notebook): I'm also going to write you up for driving while under the influence.
NOMIANISM:
Judge: Your speeding fine has been fully paid. You're free to go.
Driver: I appreciate your mercy, your Honor. I will strive to be a better citizen.
John 8:11 ...And Yeshua said unto her, "Neither do I condemn you. Go, and sin [break the law] no more."
