A Bit About Me
I am a business owner and work as a professional artist, author, and graphic designer. I lead an active lifestyle and especially enjoy caring for high-energy dogs. Being an avid hiker and runner, if your dog has a favorite trail or routine, I’d be happy to maintain it while you are away. I also have a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting dogs if you so wish.
My background with animals is extensive. I grew up on a farm and have worked on ranches in the Cariboo and Fraser Valley Regions. I have also served as a farm manager, so I am well-versed in responsibility. I have a huge passion for animals and have trained large dogs and horses. I previously worked as a dog and cat groomer. All these experiences have given me a strong understanding of animal behavior across many breeds and personalities.
Many people have told me that I have natural connection with animals. I pay close attention to their behavior and individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic, elderly, anxious, or highly trained, I approach each animal with patience.
Current Prices (Subject to Change)
DOGS: $50 per night (each additional dog is $20 per night)
CATS: $40 per night
Availability
Please review my current availability below, then contact me to discuss your travel dates and specific needs. Payment is in advance and will be refunded to you if your plans change. Please give me 3 days notice if this is the case.
Friday evening to Saturday evening I am offline and do not respond to requests, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for considering my services!
PLEASE NOTE: After due consideration, to maintain my personal privacy I have chosen not to take any housesits where there are indoor cameras. If any hidden cameras are discovered during the housesit, I will immediately terminate the stay, and you will be responsible for finding a replacement sitter.
