I’m a bit limited at the moment following shoulder replacement surgery but I’m looking forward to reading and learning.

Still trying to get up there gumption to read the Bible from cover to cover. Hard ti call myself a true believer having not done this. Although I’m not certain it’s required. I can’t imagine everyone has the resources to do this. But everyone can read or has a Bible in their language.
I believe it was all recorded for our edification (even the begats! LOL!) and for a purpose, so it’s important to read it all.
BUT, starting at “page 1” is what often confuses and discourages many, causing them to give up.
Billy Graham always recommended to new believers to start with the book of John.
I have personally read a Psalm a day for 47 years. Whether praise or complaint, they speak to our reality.
I also rotate through the Torah, the “rest of” what we call the OT, the gospels, and the “rest of” the NT.
Finding a “method” that works for you is vital.
Scripture truly is our daily bread. How do we even know what being a disciple is without it?

I’m working my way through Romans again and am just being reminded how law-focused it is! In the context of all the verses in support of the Law, this verse stood out to me too:
Romans 15:18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed…

Thanks for creating this forum! Don’t know how active I’ll be, but willing to participate. Thanks for the invite! I have enjoyed your posts, and the posts of other like-minded believers in this circle. I’m a 30 year Torah-observant believer, a C5 quadriplegic for the last almost 5 years, about 4 with some hand function. Keyboards are chaaallenging for me, so long dissertations are out of my realm of comfort—I tend to keep my comments short—shorter than this paragraph of introduction!! 🤣
Aw thanks for joining! Respect to you! I find it hard enough trying to write on these things with my uninhabited fingers!

The Hananeel Hub was created for God-fearing believers who desire genuine online fellowship without being dependent on social media. For years, social media has connected people who would likely have never met each other without it, yet so many of us have found ourselves distracted, overwhelmed, and increasingly disconnected from the people right around us. Endless scrolling has replaced meaningful conversation, algorithms decide what we see, and our lives have become dependent on platforms we do not have any say in.
The Hananeel Hub is a step away from all this. Here you'll find an old-fashioned discussion forum where believers can gather, ask questions, encourage one another, share testimonies, discuss Scripture, exchange practical knowledge, and build lasting relationships without all the noise and pressure of modern social media.
This is part of a larger vision: helping the body of believers become less dependent on technology while remaining deeply connected to one another. I believe that the internet can be a great blessing, but lately it has seemed more and more like a curse. Is there a way to escape this system and somehow go back to the skills we used to have to stay connected with one another? I would love to explore this possibility, and I hope this Hananeel Hub can be one step in that direction.
I don't know the answer, but hopefully someone can show us the way back to sanity. I also get very overwhelmed by social media.
Thank you for joining! We should start a prayer thread! Praying a speedy recovery for you. 🙏🏼
